hi. my name is max (20 years old)

My name is Max and I'm 20 years old. 

I received my Syngap diagnosis age 14 as I took part in the DDD Study. 

I'm non verbal and can display extremely challenging behaviour. I'm happiest when watching YouTube videos of buses or my favourite shows (usually constantly repeating small sections of the video). I have a liquid diet which I drink from a sports bottle. One of the first milestones I didn't meet was weaning onto solid food. 

I have an older brother who's currently at university.  My days are spent at my flat with three carers and I come home in the evening. I'm currently working on building up to staying at my flat overnight. 

I'm very affectionate and loving especially with my Mum, but can also bite, pull hair and get really upset and hurt myself. My epilepsy started when I was about a year old, but its really well under control now. I have my own van and love to go for rides. I'm happiest just chilling watching my iPad.
